Midi articles
This is a collection of articles that provide help on several aspects of Midi composition. It covers technical as well as musical questions. The Midi FAQ summarizes the most important questions covered here and quickly leads to the respective articles - if you are looking for an answer to a specific question, one glance will show you if you have come to the right place. I have tried to make these articles suitable for beginners - A short Glossary of terms and a list of midi-guidelines provide additional information. When giving examples, I usually refer to the Cakewalk sequencer (Cakewalk professional 8.0, German version). Although most sequencers work in a similar way, I can't guarantee that my examples will work for everybody. Also note that I'm no expert - Some of my explanations might not be exact or even wrong.
